Zzz...

Zzz....SLEEP. An essential fraction of a typical human being. Why? Why do we have to bounded by sleep, of all things? Do you realize how much time we've lost to do something as unproductive as sleep? Especially after school, the weakest period of time in a teenager's life. We can't help it, we look at the bed, the first thing we think of is to snore on the soft, cushiony matress. By the time we wake up, it's like, evening. Gosh. There goes half the day. That leaves only an hour and a half to exercise or work out, which is what I do, and I know many others continue sleeping. Ah. Then night comes. Ooh. That's when we gather our concentration and energy to finish our last-minute homeworks. Then, we'll keep doing or work with occasional drawbacks and distractions; you know what I'm talking about. Next thing you know, it's twelve midnight! Then your mom pops her head at the door, "Sleep lo, tomorrow got school ah." and "Ask you do in the afternoon wan lah, sleep sleep sleep." You reply a muffled grumble. Then she goes like, "I don't care about you lah. Tomorrow the bus come I won't even bother to wake you up. I'll let you sleep and then you'll regret. Hah." She closes the door and mutters her way back to her room. You continue your work and voila! 3 o' clock of the morning has arrived. You think no more. It's simple. Bed. Lie down. Close eyes. Surprisingly, you've made it through the night. You woke up just in time to do the things you do in the morning. A bit late, though. Then another series of grumbling in the car. Ugh. School. Biology. Survived that. Add maths. Favourite subject. Malay. Konking out. Physics. Gone la. Next thing you know, you feel a twisting sensation on the ear. You look up and see the spiteful face your teacher has put on. All you could do was smile sheepishly back. Need I continue?
